I can set zippers!

I finally learned how to set zippers... the right way. The first pouch is more of a pencil case and has a traditionally set zipper, the second one has an invisible zipper (a bit trickier, for sure!).

Happy New Year!

Happy new year, crafters! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays as much as I did. I got two new wonderful toys for my craft room this year, a serger from my boyfriend and a dress form from my parents. Both have been set up and are ready to use, and I can't wait to get started on some projects for myself, after having finished up all of my homemade Christmas presents. Here are some pics of my new and improved craft space.

1950 Suburban Station Wagon Softie

This is a model of the 1950 Plymouth Suburban that my dad is restoring. It's all hand sewn and made of felt and embroidery floss. (Note: not to scale!)

Mom's Apron

Here's an apron I made for my mom for Christmas this year. I added the pockets and lining, which were not part of the pattern.

Mom, modeling the apron.
